Car-X Tire & Auto in Chicago, Illinois

So I've been to this location twice and other times I have received horrible customer service. Both times all I wanted was an oil change. The first time the mechanic refused because my driver door wouldn't open. He said "I'm not crawling across the seat. I'm too old for that, I'm not doing it, PERIOD!" So basically since my car door is jammed, Car X has refused to service my car. I took my car to Midas and they changed the oil with no problem. I decided against putting up a review until today. The second time (today) I took my car and the mechanic went to my car, started it uo, came back and said "your car has a tick and we can't change the oil if it ticks." First of all my check engine light isn't even n on, never has been on and I regularly maintenance my car. Second, isn't Car X a car maintenance mechanic shop? So instead of requesting to find the problem or at least drive the car into the bay area, you turn a paying customer away. If it were Midas, the mechanic would have explained to me that the problem and requested to repair the problem. They and no other car maintenance mechanic shop would have done what Car X has done. No real business would ever turn away a paying customer unless the service requested was out of the realms of service that the company provides. I was once a person who wouldn't go anywhere but Car X, now I'll go anywhere but Car X and if I can help it, no one I know will patronize this company either.
