M & J Contractors Inc in Chicago, Illinois

TO THE PUBLIC. If you have another choice for a contractor, I suggest that you use them. M & J Contractor are not fair or honest people. The so called manager (Juan Martin ) make promises to you and don't keep them. Or should I say until he get's the job. They started on my house in 8/2014 and didn't complete it. It was completed by someone else 11/2015. Mr. Martin changed our contract so many times where I ended up not getting everything that I was suppse to get. After a week or two I was no longer able to reach Mr. Martin by phone or any other means. He has people working for him that lies and they want to purchase the cheapest things they could find for your home.The painters that he has working for him, did the worst job I had ever seen. My 13 year old grandchild can do better than they did. (Who Paints over screws???). The floors was suppose to be redone, they looked like a stain color was put on it and left it that way. There are so many spots and stains in the wood they have to be redone. After my house was completed I found out that Mr. Martin wasn't licensed or bonded.
