Great dive bar!!!! Strong drinks, good pours for shots. Bartender who will enjoy a good conversation with you. PBR on tap....usually my standard for a good bar. Crazy decor. Next time I'm in Chicago will definitely make this one of my drink stops.

I came here on a whim and LOVED it. Really one of the most charming bars I've been to courtesy of the wonderful sweetheart owner herself Rose seated behind the bar and happy to make conversation. She said she has owned the place since 1980. Cheap drinks and a super cozy environment. Old school jukebox, some TVs, pool tables, and a gumball machine. Little bowls of pretzels and Bugles on the bar and plenty of cool knick-knacks adorning the walls. This is my kind of joint, unpretentious and comfortable. I could spend the whole evening here. I don't live in Chicago but I will make a point to come back every time I'm in town as long as it's still standing. 5 stars all day.
